Tottenham Hotspur will be eager to return to winning ways this weekend. Wolves will host the Lilywhites at Molineux on Sunday afternoon as they both look to climb the Premier League table.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw by Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal on Thursday night. Ange Postecoglou didn’t have the chance to rest many of his big hitters, with the likes of Son Heung-min and Dominic Solanke only coming off in the final minutes.
Before the north Londoners jet off to Germany for the second leg, they must face Vitor Pereira side, who are fighting for survival in the English top flight. So, with that being said, football.london has rounded up everything you need to know about Tottenham’s clash against Wolves.

What has Postecoglou said ?
Speaking to reporters at Hotspur Way on Friday, Postecoglou said: “We’ll need a big game, big performance on Sunday, so having some fresh legs will help, but also looking to next Thursday.
“Like I said it’s not just about resting guys or managing guys, it’s also about having guys ready next week as it could go to 120 minutes and we need people ready to go so a combination of those factors we’ll make some changes.”
The Tottenham boss added: “Yeah, good challenge, they’re a good side and I think they’ve sort of stabilised in recent times and especially at their place, we had a tough game at their place last year as well and that’s why I think it’s good preparation for us.
“I think we need to be again at the levels we need to be in the Premier League to get an outcome. We want to get another positive result. We obviously won last week and we want to keep that going and have momentum building into Thursday, so good challenge for us, but one we’re up for.”
What has Pereira said ?
Meanwhile, in the West Midlands, Pereira said: “If you relax it’s a big mistake. It’s my responsibility to not allow them to relax because the next game will be very hard for us.”
The Wolves boss added: “We need to feel the energy and make this connection with the supporters. Of course we are not finished yet, but together we are stronger. If you play with your soul they will be proud, if we don’t press and show courage they will tell us. I want confidence and fight.”
On the challenge posed by Spurs, Pereira said: “We will face a very good team, a strong team. I watched them yesterday, they are with fire. The coach will for sure do some changes but they are still very strong because they have a very good squad.”
