Just a month out from the start of the WNBA regular season and only a week after the conclusion of March Madness, the 2025 WNBA Draft has arrived. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about the event, including where to watch WNBA Draft live streams and a list of some 2025 draft prospects.
Paige Bueckers, fresh off a National Championship win with UConn, is the projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. The Dallas Wings have the first pick this year, leaving many to predict that Bueckers will be in Texas for her rookie season. The Seattle Storm have the second pick, followed by back-to-back (third and fourth) picks for the Washington Mystics, and a fifth pick for the Golden State Valkyries, the newest WNBA expansion team slated to tip off this season.
In addition to Bueckers, 16 top players have been invited to the event, including USC’s Kiki Iriafen, Notre Dame’s Sonia Citron, TCU’s Hailey Van Lith, South Carolina’s Te-Hina Paopao, and France’s Dominique Malonga. While only 16 people received official invites from the league, other college basketball stars will most likely be in attendance and are eligible to be drafted if they’ve declared and waived any remaining college eligibility, in addition to a few other requirements.

What channel is the WNBA Draft on?
The WNBA Draft will air on ESPN in the United States. The event will kick off on Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET, although a pre-draft WNBA Countdown show will air on the network starting at 7.
Where to watch the WNBA Draft in the US
As far as we can tell, the draft doesn’t appear to be available for live streaming on ESPN Plus. The WNBA Draft isn’t on the app’s list of upcoming live events and the official ESPN press release didn’t list ESPN Plus as a viewing option. This means that viewers without cable will need to enlist the help of a month-to-month live TV streaming channel package such as Sling TV, DirecTV, or Fubo.
