What channel is Yankees game on today? How to watch vs Rays on Amazon Prime Video

For a second consecutive night, the Yankees are on Amazon Prime Video as they face the Tampa Bay Rays in the series opener on Thursday night.

This is the only time during the regular season that the Yankees will be featured on the streaming service on a Thursday and on back-to-back nights, with the organization playing on Wednesdays throughout 2025. There are a couple Friday night exceptions mixed in, with the first coming on July 25 versus the Phillies and the other game coming on August 22 against the Red Sox.

The Yankees will no doubt feel at home on Thursday, as the game against the Rays will be held at George M. Steinbrenner Field — their own spring training facility — with Tampa Bay playing all 82 home games at that ballpark due to damage at Tropicana Field from hurricanes late last year.

The Yankees completed their second sweep of the year when they defeated the Royals 4-3 in Clarke Schmidt’s return and the first rematch of the American League Division Series from last postseason.
