The anticipation is over. The 89th Masters Tournament begins today.
The world’s best men’s professional golfers tee it up Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club in the quest for a green jacket, golf immortality and part of a prize pool that should go past $20 million.
Honorary starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson get it going before 7:30 a.m., and the first tee time is at 7:40.
At the Masters, players start only off No. 1 (weather permitting), so Thursday’s last group gets going at 1:45 p.m.
Masters.com has live event coverage throughout the day, from players on the range to shot-by-shot coverage of featured groups during the tournament. Media partner ESPN will air coverage in the afternoon.

In addition, Sirius XM radio will have live updates on each day of the tournament on channel 92.
