- West Ham have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games against Southampton (W8 D3), going down 3-2 at home in December 2021.
- Southampton’s first Premier League away game against West Ham ended in a 3-3 draw in May 1994. Since then, none of their 20 top-flight visits to the Hammers have finished level (W5 L15).
- West Ham United have gone five games without a Premier League victory (D2 L3), last having a longer run without a win in their first six games of 2024.

- In their 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa, Southampton made 18 tackles and 10 of them were by Jack Stephens. It was the most tackles by a Saints player in a top-flight game since December 2020, when Kyle Walker-Peters made 11 against Fulham.
