On the final ball, Shami once again missed his yorker, bowling a full toss on the leg side, and Stoinis sent the ball sailing into the stands for the fourth consecutive six.

Before Stoinis’ explosive finish, Pat Cummins had bowled a tidy over, providing some respite, but it was clear that the storm was brewing. Stoinis’ blistering cameo of 34 runs off just 11 balls, with an extraordinary strike rate of 309, gave Punjab Kings a formidable total of 245.

Earlier in the innings, Shreyas Iyer had played a pivotal role, contributing a brilliant 82 runs off 36 balls, striking at a rate of 227. Punjab’s batsmen dominated the SRH bowling attack, with explosive batting that left the Sunrisers’ bowlers reeling. Mohammad Shami, in particular, had a tough outing, conceding the most runs in his four overs without picking up a single wicket. SRH’s bowling woes have continued, and with this defeat, they now find themselves having lost four of their first five games in the tournament.
