MANASSAS, Va. (7News) — U.S. Authorities have arrested a top MS-13 leader in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and Governor Glenn Youngkin held conference at the Manassas FBI field office to discuss the operation on Thursday morning.
Authorities say he is a top MS-13 leader in the country and was living in Virginia.
President Donald Trump made the announcement on his Truth Social platform on Thursday morning.
The President also said that the MS-13 leader is an illegal alien from El Salvador.

MS-13 was formed in the 1980s by Salvadoran immigrants in Los Angeles, California. Some members are trained in guerilla warfare and the use of military weapons, according to the Department of Justice.
