Stone Cold Steve Austin crashes his ATV at WrestleMania, knocks fan down

The 63,226 people in attendance* tonight (April 20) at Night Two of WrestleMania 41 erupted when the glass shattered, signaling the arrival of the WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin.

It took awhile before we saw the Texas Rattlesnake, however. As our man among those 63,226*, Cageside’s Kyle Decker told us why… Austin missed the ramp up the main one and had to back up his ATV to start his proper entrance.

That wasn’t Austin’s only ATV issue in Vegas on Sunday night. You can see it at the end of Big Dave’s video, but here’s a closer look at Stone Cold crashing his ATV into the barricade. And you can see a woman in the front row disappear from view after he does, falling either back into her chair or to the ground.

Austin got in the ring and attempted a bit where he counted individual fans to confirm the attendance number he was there to announce, but bailed on that, calling it “bullshit” and getting to the bottom line before exiting.

After the segment, he joined WWE president Nick Khan in talking the fan who got jostled when he wrecked. Hopefully she’s alright. We imagine she’s leaving with at least a bag full of free merch, and probably some comped front row seats to another show or two.

* That’s the number they announced. We’d wait for attendance figures from an outlet like Wrestlenomics if you want a breakdown of how many of those folks were paying customers.
