GRAND RAPIDS —The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Eaton County until 11:15 a.m. Friday, April 18.
Winds could reach 60 mph and accompany quarter-size hail, according to an NWS alert.
“Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds,” it said. “People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows.”
That National Weather Service has warned that much of the Lower Peninsula could see thunderstorms and severe weather on April 18.
