Several Tri-State schools close following severe weather Wednesday night

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Due to Wednesday night’s storms, several Tri-State schools have changed their schedules.

Within the past couple of hours, EVSC announced it will closed Thursday due to multiple school power outages and trees blocking the roads.

Officials say this will be an asynchronous day.

Meanwhile, Henderson County schools are on NTI, while Henderson child care centers will be closed as well.

Pike County is on a two hour delay.
