*The Avalanche lost their aforementioned Game 7 to the Stars, which has some ramifications for the Flyers’ upcoming draft. [BSH]

*The Phantoms are in their second round of the playoffs as well and are coming off a VERY big win over the Hershey Bears. [BSH]

*The Flyers are, of course, still looking for their head coach. And there are a lot of guys to choose from, thought it definitely seems like two or three are leading the pack at the moment. [Inquirer]

*The hockey talking heads still seem to be insisting that Rick Tocchet is the frontrunner. [BSH]

*As for Brad Shaw, do we think he’s shown enough over his career to prove he’d make a good head coach? [NBC Sports Philly]

*It’s Player Grades Season around here and we’ve kicked things off with a look at what we saw from Emil Andrae this year. [BSH]

*We are also rolling through the Community Draft Board; up at 10 is a Big Boy Defenseman. [BSH]

*Next up at 9, a center that seemed to be on some Flyers’ fans radar before the Flyers ended up at 4. [BSH]

*At 8, another center who has huge upside but comes with huge risk, too. [BSH]

*And finally, it’s a good thing we’re running through these Community Draft posts because tonight is the big night! It’s Draft Lottery Day! Here’s a brief history of how the Flyers have fared over the years, and here’s hoping the balls fall in our favor tonight. [BSH]
