That’s a wrap on The Conners!
The ABC spinoff series brought Roseanne cast members John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman back into the fold — all of whom reprised their original roles from the 1988 sitcom — with the addition of newcomers Emma Kenney and Katey Sagal.
Throughout its nearly seven-year run, The Conners took fans on an emotional rollercoaster, filled with both happy and sad tears, as the family navigated death, budding romances, parenthood, marital issues and financial hardships.
Moreover, the spinoff showed that love comes in all kinds of forms: Dan Conner (Goodman) finds love again with Louise (Sagal). At the same time, Becky Conner (Goranson) learned the true meaning of unconditional love after becoming a mom. However, the cast’s fictional love stories don’t necessarily draw inspiration from real life.
Unlike his character, Goodman has been married to his wife, Anna Beth Goodman, since 1989. Meanwhile, Sagal wed actor Kurt Sutter over two decades ago. Several cast members know a thing or two about parenthood: Jay R. Ferguson shares three children with wife Lorena Ruiz, while Metcalf is a proud mother of four.

John Goodman is best known for playing Dan Conner on Roseanne and its spinoff, The Conners. In the late 1980s, the actor met his future wife at a Halloween party in New Orleans.
In a 2012 interview with Elle, Goodman reminisced about their meet-cute, noting that it originally caught him by surprise.
“She walked up to me and said, ‘Hi.’ I couldn’t figure out why anyone that pretty was talking to me,” he recalled.
They wed in 1989, before welcoming their daughter, Molly Evangeline, in 1990.

Metcalf portrays Jackie Harris on The Conners. She is also an original Roseanne cast member — as is her second husband, Matt Roth, who played her on-screen boyfriend at the time.
The pair met on set in 1992 and were married the following year. They share three children: sons Will and Donavan and daughter Mae. Metcalf and Roth’s divorce was finalized in 2014.
Metcalf also has a daughter, Zoe, with her first husband, Jeff Perry. They were married from 1983 to 1986 and remain close.

Kenney portrayed Harris Conner-Healy on The Conners. She is dating Conrad Hilton, whose sisters are Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in November 2024, but have stayed tight-lipped about the details of their relationship. The following month, Conrad appeared on Kenney’s Instagram for the first time.
Today, Conrad holds a position at Yogi’s House, a dog rescue shelter that Kenney co-founded in 2022 with Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

Gilbert appeared in 228 episodes of Roseanne as Darlene Conner. Not only did Gilbert come back to reprise her role in The Conners, but she also served as executive producer. She currently appears to be single.
Gilbert was last romantically linked to Linda Perry. The actress and musician wed in 2014 and welcomed one child together the following year. They finalized their divorce in 2024.
Gilbert also has two children from her previous relationship with TV producer Ali Adler. The exes dated for a decade.

Ferguson, who starred as Ben Olinksy, is married to Ruiz.
The couple have three sons together. During an appearance on the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum pIn March 2025, Ferguson opened up about his family’s impact on his work.
“Until I don’t have three boys that won’t stop eating — no matter how much food we put in the house — maybe then I’ll start to be able to be a little bit more picky,” he said about being open to all kinds of projects.
“Really, you know, whatever it takes,” Ferguson added.

Goranson played Becky Conner on Roseanne for five seasons and came back as a series regular for The Conners.
While her character’s love life has been widely explored on the spinoff series, Goranson has kept her personal life out of the spotlight.

Sagal, who played Louise Conner in the spinoff series, married Sutter in 2004 after they met through a mutual friend.
“He called me like a couple months later and asked me to coffee, and we went and kind of never left each other after that,” Sagal told E! News of their immediate spark.
In 2007, the couple welcomed their daughter Esmé Louise Sutter. They’ve also collaborated professionally; Sagal was a series regular on Sutter’s FX show, Sons of Anarchy, which aired from 2008 to 2014.
Sagal was previously married to late drummer Jack White. They welcomed daughter Sarah Grace White and son Jackson White, in 1994 and 1996, respectively.

Nat Faxon starred as Neville Goldufski on The Conners for five seasons.
He has been married to Meaghan Gadd since 2006. They share a son named Otis Faxon and daughters Ruthie Faxon and Beatrice Faxon.
