Masters 2025 live updates: Round 3 latest including tee times, predictions and news

Okay, maybe I’m getting a bit carried away…

But Jon Rahm, determined to show that he is still absolutely one of the best golfers in the world, has started superbly here.

He couldn’t have hoped for a better first hole, finishing off an 18-footer to move to one-over and now he is onto level-par for the week, eight shots back from Justin Rose.

His 298-yard drive just drifted into the first cut on the right-hand side and his approach landed just short of the bunker to the right of the hole. The chip onto the green left the 2023 winner with plenty to do.

And do it he did! A nicely weighted 10-footer to get him off to a dream start — if only the Spaniard wasn’t so far back from the leaders.
