Reddit appears to be down for thousands of users across the United States on Monday morning, April 21.

Many users attempting to go to the site, which operates millions of different forums specializing in everything from the NBA to reality television to self-help guides, were hit with a “You Broke Reddit” notification the day after Easter.

As of Monday morning, April 21, shortly before noon E.T., many users (including the author of this story) are still reporting that they are getting the error message.

Many users have been flocking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the error message and find out if it was just them or an issue facing everyone.

It sounds like more of the latter.

“Everyone running to Twitter to see if Reddit is down,” one fan joked.

“Reddit down after i wrote a 4 paragraph response,” one fan joked.

“is reddit down for anyone else,” another fan wondered.

“Why yes, Reddit is indeed down. Time to go touch grass,” another fan wrote.

“Reddit randomly being down and now i can’t do my mindless morning scrolling,” one fan added.

Hopefully, the issues facing Reddit’s users will be solved soon, as people have scrolling to do.
