Following a 31 game absence due to an ankle injury, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga made his highly anticipated return to the lineup on March 13. After playing in nine consecutive games, the fourth-year wing suffered another injury that sidelined him for Golden State’s contest against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
After a one-game absence, Kuminga is set to return for the Warriors’ highly-anticipated contest against LeBron James, Luka Doncic and the No. 3 seed Los Angeles Lakers. After going through pregame workouts in Los Angeles, Kuminga was ruled available off the bench for Thursday’s game.
In the first half against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, Kuminga suffered a hard fall and exited the game. Kuminga was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Kuminga was then ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Grizzlies with a right pelvic contusion.
