The Athletics take on the San Diego Padres in game three of this homestand at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento. The A’s scored all the runs they would need in the first inning yesterday, scoring six after the Padres scored three in the first half of the inning.

Today, Osvaldo Bido will get the start for the A’s. Bido has made two starts in 2025, going 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA and giving up nine hits and six walks while striking out nine. After making his first two starts of the 2025 season on the road, Osvaldo Bido will get to pitch at home in West Sacramento for the first time. He’ll go up against Randy Vasquez for the Padres. Vasquez, a 26-year-old righty, is 0-1 in two starts, giving up just two earned runs with six hits and nine walks while striking out five opponents.
