Detroit Pistons’ sharpshooter Malik Beasley finished second in 2024-25 NBA Sixth Man of the Year voting, the league announced on Tuesday.
The John Havlicek Trophy went to Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard, who had an impressive season in his own right for a team coming off of a championship season.
It was a decisive win for Pritchard, who earned 82 out of 100 first-place votes and appeared on every ballot. Beasley was second with 13 first-place votes, and was left off of five ballots. In total, Pritchard totaled 454 votes (1st place is worth five points, 2nd place is worth three, and 3rd place is worth one point). Beasley finished with 279, and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome was third with 91.
