“Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health,” the post reads. “This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding.”

The duo was scheduled to play Houston on Monday and Dallas on Tuesday.

Indie rocker Baker is best known as one third of the supergroup Boygenius. Torres is a singer-songwriter who has released a handful of albums on her own. The duo’s debut album, “Send a Prayer My Way,” was released in April. It was recorded in Marfa, and a Rolling Stone preview listed Steve Earle, George Strait and Lucinda Williams among the artists who influenced Baker and Torres.
