Colorado’s Travis Hunter leaves NFL Draft green room to dance onstage briefly

Travis Hunter didn’t let the draft stress get to him.

With minutes to go until the start of the NFL Draft, the Colorado wide receiver/cornerback left the NFL Draft green room to dance along with the band on stage. Dressed in a hot pink suit jacket, Hunter jived along with the singers with a grin on his face.

About an hour later, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner was drafted No. 2 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was originally expected to be drafted second overall by the Cleveland Browns, before the Browns made a last-minute decision to trade their pick to the Jaguars.

Hunter remained in high spirits, skipping back on stage with a smile when his name was called.

He walked Thursday’s red carpet in Green Bay with his mother and fiancée,

Leanna Lenee. In an interview with NFL Network on the carpet, Hunter had issued a final statement for teams considering whether to tap him as a top pick.
