The Milwaukee Bucks are in a tough battle with the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs, and they’re going to have to play some of their best basketball to win the series. These two teams faced off against each other last season in the playoffs, and the Pacers ended up advancing to the next round.
The Bucks were taken down in Game 1, as it wasn’t a great performance for them on either side of the ball. The one constant in the game was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 36 points, shooting 14-for-23 from the field. He also shot 8-for-15 from the free-throw line, a place where he lives with teams always fouling him.

Fans of opposing teams have started to count down when Antetokounmpo is at the free-throw line, as he likes to take his time before shooting them. Head coach Doc Rivers noticed the Pacers fans doing it in Game 1 and threw shade at them.
“I’m sitting over there, I’m counting too, and I get to seven,” Rivers said via Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I just wish the crowd would learn how to count slower.
“I always watch the refs. So funny, because I pay attention to them and it’s: The ref is at one, the crowd is on three. The ref’s on two, the crowd’s on five. So I was laughing at it.”
Fans always think that Antetokounmpo is taking 10 seconds to shoot his free throws, which would be a violation. Unfortunately, they are counting too fast, and more times than not, Antetkounmpo is getting the free throws off on time.
