John Korir, of Kenya, has won the men’s division of the 129th Boston Marathon, finishing in an unofficial time of 2:04:45.Korir, 28, was coming off a win in the 2024 Chicago Marathon, which he won in a time of 2:02:44.>> Boston Marathon: Live updatesKorir outpaced Alphonce Felix Simbu, of Tanzania, and Cybrian Kotut, of Kenya by about 20 seconds. BOSTON —John Korir, of Kenya, has won the men’s division of the 129th Boston Marathon, finishing in an unofficial time of 2:04:45.

Korir, 28, was coming off a win in the 2024 Chicago Marathon, which he won in a time of 2:02:44.

Korir outpaced Alphonce Felix Simbu, of Tanzania, and Cybrian Kotut, of Kenya by about 20 seconds. American Conner Mantz finished fourth, with a time of 2:05:08.
