What’s the buzz on Twitter?
Anthony Slater @anthonyVslater Steven Adams is a +53 in this series. The Rockets have a 46.3 offensive rebound rate when Adams/Sengun are on the floor together. That could mean more Kevon Looney in G7. He only played two minutes in G6.
Kerr: “I would expect Loon to play more than he did last night.” – 9:07 PM
I realize Pat Spencer hasn’t played prime playoff time, but he has demonstrated talent (cant recall him missing a shot) & toughness, comfort handling the ball & fearlessness in a facedown with Sengun. Dont know his contract situation, but he’s on the cusp of making serious money – 12:17 AM
Great job by Sengun. He’s the center in the zone, but Steph crossed into his area and he just stayed with him all the way to the perimeter because there was nobody else. Forced another Warriors miss. Steph is really rushing his shots against this zone. – 11:29 PM
Kerr tried to get Draymond a rest when Sengun went out, but Warriors can’t stop the Rockets without Draymond regardless of whether Sengun is in. – 11:22 PM
Rare miscue from Draymond Green, went for a trap against FVV on the sideline, then didn’t sprint back into the play and was late getting to Adams on the rotation off the Sengun pass for a dunk – 9:50 PM
Not good enough from Jalen Green. When he draws Draymond that hard in PnR, Sengun was open on the roll. Then Hield switched onto him, and he tries to take Draymond 1 on 1 instead of giving Sengun the ball. – 9:24 PM

More on this storyline
A few seconds earlier, Adams had pushed teammate Alperen Şengün toward the left block to keep an eye on Warriors center Draymond Green, so that Adams could be ready to help in the middle of the floor. In Houston’s shapeshifting zone defense, every player is a cog that keeps the entire machine running smoothly. “It’s a weird zone,” Adams said. “Yeah, I don’t know. It’s just like a bizarre one, but it works.” In the Rockets’ Game 6 win, the zone defense was key to stopping the Warriors in the fourth quarter. Golden State missed 13 shots in a row and committed three turnovers in a nearly seven-minute span against it, allowing Houston to expand its lead from four points to 13. -via Houston Chronicle / May 4, 2025
