OKALHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Easter weekend will be stormy in Oklahoma.
A cold front moves across Oklahoma Friday evening, expect widespread rain and thunderstorms with some severe weather and heavy rainfall.
There’s a slight risk for severe storms Friday evening with the main threats being large hail and damaging winds. Also, heavy rainfall could cause local flooding.
The front is going to stall out across southeastern OK with waves of rain and storms continuing Saturday into Sunday morning.
Right now it looks like the weather improves Sunday afternoon as the storm system moves east. With the cold front, also expect much cooler temps this weekend.
