‘Pacers came in thinking they’ve already won it.’ Indiana opens Game 5 with brutal first quarter

Apparently someone forgot to tell the Indiana Pacers that Game 5 started at 6 p.m. because they sure didn’t show up.

After the first quarter of a potential closeout game versus the Bucks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Pacers trailed 30-13. It was ugly. Really ugly. (UPDATE: Pacers clawed back to within 47-41 at halftime.)

As good as Pacers were in Game 4, they were as bad to start Game 5. If they’re not careful, they’ll be sleepwalking back to Milwaukee for Game 6.
