After a busy week for the season 23 top 14 contestants on “American Idol,” from attending a star-studded Hollywood party to being mentored by music legend James Taylor, they’re ready for the next round of competition, airing live on April 27, 2025.
Tonight’s two-hour “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” themed episode is live from coast-to-coast and marks the first time viewers only have the length of the show to cast their votes. In the last moments of the show, host Ryan Seacrest will announce which two contestants are going home based on the night’s votes.
EntertainmentNOW has your guide to how to vote — including the contestants’ new unique numbers for texting votes — and live results of the night’s competition.
Voting is open from the moment the episode starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time until about 9:50 p.m. Eastern time, per ABC. As in the previous week, viewers have three ways to vote and can cast up to 10 votes for each of their favorite singers on each platform — up to 30 votes per contestant.
The first two ways to vote are through ABC’s website and via the “American Idol” app, either via Apple for iPhones or via Google for Androids. The site and app require signing in — you can create a free account that works for both or use an existing MyDisney account.
The third way to vote is by texting a favorite contestant’s unique contestant number — provided above — to 21523, up to 10 times for each contestant you think should advance. EntertainmentNOW has compiled the singers’ unique numbers for texting votes below, provided in alphabetical order.
