Titans signing ex-Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett to one-year, $4 million contract

During his time in Seattle, Lockett recorded 661 receptions for 8,594 yards and 61 touchdowns in 161 games. The Seahawks’ 2015 third-round pick developed into one of the league’s premier slot receivers and became a reliable target for Russell Wilson and Geno Smith.

However, Lockett’s production in 2024 took a dip with DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba flourishing into a dynamic one-two punch. Now, Lockett and Metcalf, who was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, have gone separate ways joining new clubs.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan has secured a crafty veteran wide receiver for his quarterback, who most are prognosticating will be Miami’s Cam Ward.

With the Titans sitting at No. 1 overall in Thursday’s draft, Tennessee has at locked in a reliable target for its quarterback.
