KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Wednesday night’s game between the Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies has been postponed.
The Royals said the game would begin in a rain delay as inclement weather moved through the Kansas City metro area. Following a more than two-hour-long rain delay, the game was postponed in favor of a doubleheader on Thursday.
Wednesday’s game was originally scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m.
Out of an abundance of caution, tonight’s game has been postponed and will be played as the second game of a traditional doubleheader tomorrow, starting at 1:10 p.m. CT.

This is a developing story. KCTV will update it when more information becomes available.
