The NBA will announce the winners of its 2024-25 awards on TNT this week.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was announced as a finalist for MVP on Sunday night, hours after leading OKC to a 131-80 win against the the Grizzlies in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs. He is the only member of the Thunder up for one of the NBA’s marquee awards.
Reigning Coach of the Year Mark Daigneault was not a finalist, despite leading the Thunder to a franchise-record 68 wins.
