The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says 3,200 acres of land is burning in Barnegat Township in Ocean County.
They say the wildfire is in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area, near Jones Road.
Officials say the fire is currently 5% contained, and that 1,320 structures are threatened.

The following roads are affected:
- Route 532 (Wells Mills Road) between Rt. 72 and the Garden State Parkway
- Bryant Road is closed between Wells Mills Road (Rt. 532) and Rt. 539
- Jones Road is closed between Rt. 532 and Bryant Road.
- North and southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway are closed from Exit 63 to Exit 80.

The areas include:
- Wells Mills Road from Bryant Road to the Garden State Parkway in Ocean Township.
- Area of Route 9 in Lacey Township.
Southern Regional High School has been designated as an evacuation shelter and an animal shelter.
