The New Day were cutting a promo on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Las Vegas, Nevada, talking about winning the world tag team titles from The War Raiders at WrestleMania 41. They claimed no team can touch them.

Alpha Academy showed up talking about having defeated them in one minute, talking their way into a title shot right then and there. Before they could actually get said title shot, the lights went out and some unfamiliar music hit.

RUSEV has returned!

Rusev left WWE all the way back in 2020 and spent the following years doing fantastic work in AEW as Miro. He recently became a free agent when he was released in February and word was WWE was interested in a reunion. Sure enough, he’s back and looking better than ever.

The New Day ran off but Rusev laid out Alpha Academy, including reintroducing us to The Accolade and reminding us of what we’ve been missing out on for all these years.

Hell yes.
