IPL 2025: Shubman Gill’s 90 Powers Gujarat Titans to 198 Against KKR

Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans have set their sights on another victory in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Having already won five out of seven matches, Gujarat Titans, who are currently at the top of the table, are facing Kolkata Knight Riders today. After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, Gujarat Titans scored 198 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Captain Shubman Gill delivered a remarkable performance, scoring 90 runs off 55 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. He missed his century by just 10 runs. The other opener, Sai Sudharsan, continued his impressive form, registering another half-century. Sudharsan scored 52 runs off 36 balls, hitting 6 fours and 1 six, before being dismissed by Andre Russell.

Coming in at one-down, Jos Buttler entertained with his trademark shots, remaining unbeaten with 41 runs off 23 balls, which included 8 fours. Rahul Tewatia was dismissed for a duck.

Among the Kolkata Knight Riders’ bowlers, Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana, and Andre Russell claimed one wicket each.
