SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Social media network Reddit has been experiencing a widespread outage impacting its app and website, according to the Downdetector website. The majority of user reports — 60% — indicate problems with the app.
Another 29% of user reports indicated problems with the website, while 12% reported server connection issues.
There was no immediate word on what was causing the outage. According to Reddit’s status page, the issue impacting service has been identified and a fix is being implemented.
Reddit, a social media aggregation and micro-blogging platform, is headquartered in San Francisco.
