After Flair challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship and Uso challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship (despite having zero wins and three losses in head-to-head matchups), John Cena won the Royal Rumble, earning him a shot at Cody Rhodes and a chance at a record-breaking 17th WWE Championship reign.
Of course, Cena shocked the world by viciously attacking Rhodes, setting a hostile tone en route to their upcoming match.
