SAN FRANCISCO — Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant reached deep in his bag for a fancy finish against the Golden State Warriors in Tuesday’s play-in game.

With Warriors defender Gary Payton II in close pursuit and Morant driving to the basket, the Grizzlies star threw the ball off the backboard before grabbing it out of the air and completing a layup. He finished the basket while surrounded by three Warriors players.

The Grizzlies are playing the Warriors for an opportunity to secure a playoff spot. With a win, the Grizzlies would take on the Houston Rockets in the first round.

Morant may need to complete a few more fancy finishes to help Memphis pull out the win inside Chase Center. The Grizzlies spent most of the first half trailing by double digits.
