Kings At Kraken Preview: Seattle Hosts Final ’24-’25 Home Game For “Fan Appreciation Night”.

Seattle, WA – The Seattle Kraken will wrap up their 2024–25 season Tuesday night against the LA Kings on Fan Appreciation Night at Climate Pledge Arena. It’s the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season, with Seattle winning two of the first three (2–1 on April 7 in LA and 4–2 on Jan. 18 at home). The Kraken are 7–6–1 all-time vs. LA, including a 2–3–1 mark at home.

The Kings currently sit in second place in the Pacific Division with a 47-24-9 record (103 points) and have clinched a playoff spot. Their 47 wins are tied for the second-most in a season in franchise history, trailing only the 2015–16 Kings, who went 48-28-6. The Kraken will finish the season in seventh place at 35-40-6 (76 points).

Kraken: Jaden Schwartz has been nominated for both the 2024–25 King Clancy Memorial Trophy and the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the latter voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association in Seattle. Schwartz leads active Kraken skaters in goals (11) and points (22), and ranks third in assists (11) in 30 career games vs. the Kings.

Brandon Montour recently played his 600th NHL game. He has four goals and nine points (4–5–9) in 15 career games vs. LA, including the game-winning goal in last week’s 2–1 victory at Crypto.com Arena.

Kings: Kevin Fiala has 16 career points (2–14–16) against Seattle, with his 14 assists ranking second-most in the league vs. the Kraken—trailing only Leon Draisaitl’s 20.
