WTA Miami Round of 16 Best Bets Including Iga Swiatek vs Elina Svitolina

Here are our best bets for for the round of 16 and ITF Antalya 2. Do you think we made the right calls?

WTA Miami Round of 16

Swiatek – Svitolina: Time 13:30

H2H: 2-1

Easily the best match of the day, Iga Swiatek vs Elina Svitolina promises to be a battle between two women playing some of their best tennis. While Swiatek holds the advantage in the head-to-head, it’s not such decisive advantage that Svitolina can’t overcome the odds. Both women play well on hard court, but Swiatek holds an advantage as she’s played more matches. Svitolina is 11-4 on hard surfaces in 2025 compared to Swiatek’s 20-5 overall.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Swiatek winning this in convincing fashion and while I agree, there is some absurd money to be made if you fancy an upset in this match. At 4.33 odds, you can triple your money if you want to place a small wager against Swiatek. A $100 bet would gross you a $433.00 payout and considering Svitolina is one of the better players in Miami, the odds are there if you’re willing to take a risk. For the odds you’re gonna get, this is the upset to pick if you’re going to take a chance on an upset.

That being said, Svitolina winning is a value bet for sure.

Eala – Badosa: Time 13:30

H2H: 0-0

It seems like potential upsets are what is on offer in the second day of the Round of 16 at Miami. Alexandra Eala is in the Round of 16 because she upset Madison Keys in the 3rd Round, in straight sets no less. Truly an impressive feat from the 19-year-old. If she wants to keep the magic going, she’s going to need another upset against Paula Badosa. Madison Keys was ranked 5th in the world and Paula checks in at no. 11, but Eala is the better hard court player in this match. She’s won 71% of her matches on hard surfaces in 2025 compared to Badosa’s 63% on those same surfaces.

Best Bet to Make

It should go without saying that the books heavily favor Badosa in this match, and I do agree. Eala checks in at no. 140 in the world and is only 19 years of age. Badosa is 27 and ranked 11th, so experience and skill are on her side. At 3.2, the odds for Eala winning aren’t as high as Svitolina’s chances and won’t pay out as much, but you could bring home a decent payday if you think Eala continues her winning ways. A $100 bet would give you a $320 payout, but that’s a big risk.

That being said, Eala winning is a value bet for sure.

ITF Antalya 2 Round 1

Prozorova – Waltert: Time 09:00

H2H: 0-0

In an effort to expand your gambling opportunities, I’m taking one match from the ITF Antalya 2 as the odds and the match itself make for a value bet. Tatiana Prozorova takes on Simona Waltert in Turkey in Round 1. Prozorova checks in at 2-1 on clay courts in 2025 while Waltert is 3-1 herself. Both are playing phenomenal tennis entering Antalya 2, with Prozorova winning eight of her last ten and Waltert taking seven of her last ten.

Best Bet to Make

Some books have Waltert as a slight favorite but many other books see this match as a draw. This is where overall record comes into play for me. Prozorova is sitting at 14-2 overall in 2025 with Waltert checking in at a much less impressive 11-6. I’m inclined to take Prozorova in this match, as I favor form and overall recent play as the best indicators in tennis outside of court type. Prozorova also has more success in ITF than Waltert and it seems to me like she’s the better candidate for my bet.

That being said, Prozorova winning is a value bet for sure.
