SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports a 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck near Julian Sunday afternoon.
The 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck at a depth of 8 miles at 3:54 p.m. Sunday around 3 miles (5 km) south of Julian in eastern San Diego County, USGS reports.
The USGS shake map shows residents in Oceanside, Escondido, and throughout San Diego reported feeling weak to light shaking.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage with this earthquake.
Experts are now monitoring for any aftershocks.
