AUSTIN – The Austin Fire Department is investigating what may have caused a two-story home to explode Sunday just before noon.
Home explodes in Northwest Austin
What we know:
The home in the 10400 block of Double Spur Loop collapsed, and one person was found inside the rubble.
The initial call was for a possible house explosion.
The person found in the rubble was handed over to EMS for treatment.
What we don’t know:
The identity of the person found in the rubble and the extent of their injuries is not known.
The cause of the explosion is not known.
